Two 2-Hour Personalized Lessons (4 hours total) — $100 (Recommended for beginners.)
Ideal for learning sewing basics, becoming comfortable with your machine, and completing a simple project.

Four 2-Hour Personalized Lessons (8 hours total) — $210 (Perfect for beginning quilters!)
Designed for those who want to learn the fundamentals of quilting while completing a beautiful beginner-friendly quilt from start to finish.

Private lessons may include:

• Learning how to use your sewing machine

• Threading, bobbins, needles, and basic machine settings

• Troubleshooting common beginner sewing problems

• Measuring, cutting, and pressing

• Sewing accurate seams and basic seam finishes

• Completing a beginner-friendly sewing project

• Rotary cutting and quilting tools

• Sewing an accurate ¼-inch seam

• Basic quilt piecing and quilt construction

• Preparing a quilt sandwich

• Beginner machine quilting

• Binding a quilt

• Help with a beginner sewing or quilting project already in progress

What Students Need to Bring

Every private lesson is customized to your goals. Before we meet, we'll discuss your project and I'll let you know exactly what fabrics and supplies you'll need. Sewing machines, basic tools, and shared cutting and pressing equipment are available for your use during the lesson.
