Students will learn:
Understanding sewing machine settings, feet, needles, and basic maintenance
Troubleshooting common problems with thread, tension, and stitching
Accurate measuring and cutting
Understanding seam allowances and sewing accurately
Pressing techniques that improve finished projects
Building the confidence to begin future sewing projects independently
Students will create a variety of beginner-friendly projects designed to build essential sewing skills and confidence. Sample projects may include an envelope pillow cover, bowl cozy, notebook cover, or structured tote bag. Projects may vary based on the pace, interests, and skill level of the class.
No previous sewing experience necessary.
Class Length: 2 hours per week for 4 weeks

Cost: $149 per student for the complete 4-week class series
A project-specific fabric and materials list will be provided to registered students before class begins.
Basic sewing tools and shared cutting and pressing equipment will be available for students to use during class along with sewing machine.
